Mike has 18 years experience teaching guitar and piano classes to ages 5 - adult. Students can learn beginning to advanced styles of classical, jazz, pop/rock and blues. Students develop skills in note reading, music theory, technique, improvisation, singing and ear training. He is a full time music teacher for New York City public schools and is a licensed music teacher by the state of New York. He also has level two certification in Kodaly music teaching methods.
